Positions Available

Electronics Technician

Sensoray Co., Inc. has an immediate opening for an Electronics Technician with our manufacturing team. In this position you will use your technical expertise to test and repair electronic components across the entire product line. You will use your problem solving skills to resolve issues and meet production schedules on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will work efficiently and effectively prioritizing workload.

Job Requirements

  • Perform electronic test to the component level using approved drawings, specifications and procedures
  • Troubleshoot and repair analog and digital circuit boards to component level using oscilloscopes, DVMs and computer-aided tests
  • Identify routine problems and solutions and effectively implement corrective action. Troubleshoot, calibrate and repair equipment as required
  • Analyze and interpret test data
  • Ability to work collaboratively with minimal supervision
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as required

Qualifications

  • Two-year experience/training in electronics fundamentals required
  • Good soldering/de-soldering skills
  • Computer literate with Windows XP/7/8, Linux OS, and Windows File Systems
  • Basic understanding of Ethernet and internet protocol
  • Strong English communication skills
  • Competency Testing required

Technical Support Engineer

Sensoray currently seeks to hire a Technical Support Engineer to be part of the Technical Services group that provides software, hardware and technical support for all Sensoray products.

Job Requirements

  • Working in our manufacturing group for six months to learn products
  • Pass a written test about op-amps, digital logic, screw fasteners, arithmetic skills and computer literacy with Windows and Linux file systems
  • Excellent verbal and communications skills required for phone, e-mail and computer support of software and hardware products
  • Advanced technical sales and consulting skills; must be able to understand and recommend Sensoray's range of products for advising on customer integration
  • Set up test stations to assist customers with Sensoray products
  • Read and understand customer's C-code and VB.NET for Linux and Windows
  • Understand basic Ethernet and Internet protocol
  • Taking the initiative on issues with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment of engineers to meet aggressive goals and high quality standards

Desirable Experience

  • Advanced Training or Certification

Software Engineer

Write Linux and Windows applications, drivers and instruction manuals for Sensoray's hardware.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to maintain low-level software written in C, GCC, assembler for x86, ARM, PIC and common micro-controllers
  • BS in electronics engineering, computer science, physical sciences or mathematics
  • Able to understand and give instructions in English
  • Recent experience writing multi-thread drivers and APIs
  • Literate in Linux GCC, Windows C-language and assembler
  • Five years of non-academic software experience

Desirable Experience

  • DirectShow and/or Windows Media Foundation
  • Video codecs or video processing
  • GUI development
