Windows 10 April 2018 Update (Version 1803) added new privacy controls for webcam and microphone.

Some Sensoray devices are treated as a camera or microphone, and are not accessible until the following options are turned on:

Start > Settings > Privacy > Camera, then turn on "Allow apps to access your camera".

Start > Settings > Privacy > Microphone, then turn on "Allow apps to access your microphone".

If the privacy controls are turned off, then the devices may fail to operate under Windows, and may show up with serial number 0 or firmware version 0.
